I’ll admit that short stories aren’t usually my thing, but I devoured this book and couldn’t get enough of Kate Burkholder, so I’ll definitely be going back and starting the whole series at book one. They’re the perfect length, and just the right blend of mystery, detective work, and suspense to make it difficult to stop at just one story each time you pick up the book. Each story is wonderfully gripping and provides all the information you need to get sucked into that world. These stories are #4.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5.Įven if you haven’t read the series yet you can still pick up this collection and be completely enthralled from the first page.
